Casting minnows. South Bend. Underwater minnow. Trout-Oreno.
Sinkers.
Sinkers should be properly used.
In still fishing with live bait, attach sinker about a foot above the hook. This gives the bait a chance to move, and motion attracts the big ones.
The sinker should be heavy enough to keep the float upright.
In fly and bait casting, a suitably sized sinker will take the Lure down when the fish are feeding deep.
Fly fisherman usually carry all three sizes of split shot.
